The last of the Passerines this morning. Family Thraupidae - Tanagers and Allies; Red-crested Cardinal. My last in the review out of my photo library. Thank you for tolerating this review of the Passeriformes. It was a great learning exercise for me, forcing organization and review of over 187,000 digital photos. No idea what to do with the mountains of medium format and 35mm negatives and slides before the digital era. Not sure where to go next.

Volunteer work day today again, likely back to invasives. On Tuesday, had a surprise visit by a large Pileated Woodpecker that landed about 4 metes away to work on a decayed log. It looked at me from time to time, but kept working. It flew away after ~5 minutes - amazing.
