In this week's adventures in weariness, I give you: the penis consultation.

Gent is dragged into pharmacy by wife who is worried about his weeping penis rash. I would be too, but he is positively jovial for some reason I do not care to get into.

Wide area on top of scrotum, not penis, looks more like a burn. Questioning reveals has been nude sunbathing but didn't apply sunscreen to nads after 'what happened last time'. In NEW ZEALAND. You know, the place where you need SPF50 to walk to your mailbox.

Anyway. Advice (free), on to the next patient. I start to search the shelves for their script. A colleague asks what I'm looking for. And what does my mouth say?

Penis.

I have to use Word to access my train tickets on my phone. I just got a pop-up saying the app had been translated for me from English and wanted me to choose how satisfied I was with the quality and clarity of the translation.

I said I was very satisfied.

It asked me why and gave me a text box. I typed "I speak English." That didn't seem like quite enough so I added "And the app is in English."

I wanted to get a picture but we scoffed it so quickly. :) So I'll do #NoImageOnlyDescription instead: I came home with a clear takeaway box that had six hollow fried dough balls in it and two clear plastic bags, one full of colored water and one with finely chopped or mashed food.

This is what happened when the lady selling pani puri found out I wanted to take it to share with a friend. She carefully assembled all the ingredients and made sure I know how to put them together. 💚
