🚨EU to the rescue🚨 I was shocked to learn that my vegan Schinken, Schnitzel and Wurst is made of plants, yes PLANTS! I am so confused, I need the EU to intervene, so I stop buying wrong things. #veggieburgerfreedom #noconfusion
I went to buy vegie burgers, but then I realised it was made of vegetables, but is also a burger… so confusing! #NoConfusion #VeggieBurgerFreedom
Seriously though, the EU is banning the use of words like “burger” and “sausage” for food made from plants. This will create huge expenses for no reason. If you’ve never been confused by vegie burgers, stand up for #VeggieBurgerFreedom! If we're honest, there's #NoConfusion here!

‼️Over 600 stakeholders have now united against the "Veggie Burger Ban" From NGO's to companies, the message to the EU institutions is clear: consumers are not confused and we don't need costly restrictions that will harm consumers, businesses, and the shift to sustainable foods. #noconfusion

If you're in the EU, and have a moment, please consider signing this open letter protesting the ridiculous plan to ban names like 'burger' and 'sausage' for #vegetarian and #vegan alternatives because they would confuse people.

What's confusing to me is why we're still taking about this bs: it's clearly one of the most ridiculous arguments ever thought up by the agri lobby.

Stop the EU’s Ban on “Meaty” Words for Plant-Based Foods

EU parliament votes to ban all variants of word relating to meat on vegetarian alternative, citing consumer confusing. Well, I can tell I'm no longer confused how strong meat industry lobby is. Please someone create a petition to force all meat-products to have a warning label "contains dead animal", because otherwise I might get confused! I'm no vegetarian, but I do not appreciate being belittled by spineless EU parliamentarians #noconfusion

Stop the ban on meaty names for plant based foods. Courts and parliaments have already rejected similar bans. Consumers are perfectly capable of telling the difference, and they don’t need EU politicians policing words on packaging that cause no confusion.

We call on the European Parliament and all EU policymakers:
❌ Reject this unnecessary and harmful ban.
✅ Protect consumer choice and transparency.
🌍 Support Europe’s transition to healthier, sustainable diets.

The EU will vote tomorrow. Please sign this petition. 👇🏼
