Benjamin Keach helped call the 1689 London Baptist convention. Here he reminds that the rich must view their wealth as being given to them by God to give to Christ’s poor. They have a right to this wealth appropriated to the them for the poor. On the positive side, there is a promise of reward, such that the poor man’s belly is the rich’s barn.
