Myanmar is a beautiful country with great friendly people. I have been lucky enough to visit twice. The first time when Suukyi was still in detention and the second when they had the brief period of democracy. The CDM welcoming defectors from the military and police gives those disatisfied with the generals a place to go and is, hopefully, something that can lead to a permanent change.
