Setup: 16 GB RAM, RX 6700 XT with 12 GB VRAM… actually way too little for Flux-Schnell. When loading the checkpoints, I immediately got a memory error. Solution: quickly set up a 32 GB swap file on the NVMe so that PyTorch and ComfyUI would have enough virtual memory.
Result: renderings now run stably, resolution 512×512 or 512×724, around 3 minutes per image. Upscaled with Real-ESRGAN.
