I don’t often notice these flowers before they wither and give rise to pale blueish berries. The blooms are numerous, but exceptionally tiny. The fruits are sparsely hairy and quite edible. Sphyrospermum buxifolium is native to southern Mexico and parts of northern South America. This hemiepiphytic shrub belongs to the Ericacea (heath & heather family).
