The #UnitedStates is building up forces in five locations in #PuertoRico, including at a #Navybase that was closed in 2004.

More aircraft, combat vehicles, landing craft & hovercrafts have been sent to the US island since November. The US also has a number of ships in the region, including the #aircraftcarrier USS Gerald R Ford.

Neat: the PFAS remediation of injecting activated carbon is working: 98%-100% less of PFOA, PFOS, PFPA, and PFOSA.

This was experimental, so it's great news!
