Twelve Kingdoms Book 1 arrived! I'm interested in comparing this to the Woodbury fan translation to see the differences in interpretation. The art is very pretty, and I'll finally have context for the illustrations in the artbooks I own for the series.

Ballad of Sword and Wine vol 1-3: I've really been enjoying The Apothecary diaries, and wanted more of a political drama. I've been interested in trying out danmei (Chinese BL), and the art on these covers is absolutely amazing. I was also impressed with the quality of the books, as they're really nice and sturdy. This gives me hope for the Twelve Kingdoms release by Seven Seas (same company).
I finished the Twelve Kingdoms anime recently, and got into reading the light novels!
I can't buy the light novels because they're out of print in English, so I decided to buy the artbooks instead. This series has some of the most beautiful art I've ever seen, courtesy of Yamada Akihiro.
