Anne Christine Dunn of Fiji won Miss Pacific Islands 2016 at Gym 1 in Tuanaimato, Apia, Samoa on December 2, 2016. Seven candidates competed for the title.
On December 9, 2017, Dunn crowned her successor Matauaina Gwendolyn To’omalatai of American Samoa at the Prince Charles Park in Nadi, Fiji. Nine candidates competed for the title.

Juliette Caroline Spencer of American Samoa won the inaugural edition of Miss South Pacific, which was founded by the government of Samoa in 1987. In 2013, Teuira Napa of the Cook Islands won the title, making her the last Miss South Pacific, which was later renamed Miss Pacific Islands.
On December 19, 2014, Alofa Dawn Latafale Auva’a of Samoa won Miss Pacific Islands 2014 at Gym 1 in Tuanaimato. On December 12, 2015, she crowned her successor Abigail Havora of Papua New Guinea at the National Auditorium in Rarotonga, Cook Islands.

On February 14, 2026, Allan crowned her successor Ailava Samuels of Fiji at the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa on Denarau Island, Nadi, Fiji. Seven candidates competed for the title.

Runner-up to Allan was Racheal Guttenbeil of Tonga. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Pauliana Felise-Vitale of American Samoa, Elsie Polosovai of the Solomon Islands and Ngatepaeru Marie Maoate of the Cook Islands.

Miss South Pacific was won by Juliette Caroline Spencer of American Samoa in 1987, Theresa Purcell of Samoa and Hawaii in 1988, Retire Chevaux of Tahiti in 1989, Henari Arauva’a of Tahiti in 1990, Kimiora Vogel of the Cook Islands in 1991, Julia Toevai of Samoa and New Zealand in 1992, Leilua Stevenson of American Samoa in 1993, Tarita Brown of the Cook Islands in 1994 and Ma’ata Mo’ungaloa of Tonga in 1995.
