Tonight I had a lovely meeting with my #NWRUK friends... talking about the ripple effect... focusing on social media... and whether the under 16s should be banned from using it...

It's my #NWRUK group meeting tonight... our discussion topic is comfort food... so I guess everyone will be going on about how much they love cake... I don't really have comfort food... although if you made me choose it'd probably have to be a bowl of dahl...

I've had a lovely day... socialising and chatting... I went to a coffee morning with the local history group... and then lunch with my #NWRUK friends... something tells me that I'm going to have a quiet sleepy evening...

I've just been out for a wonderful evening with my #NWRUK friends... we had a poetry evening... and everyone brought a poem to read out to the group... and say why we had chosen it... none of us was particularly into poetry... but we all found a suitable poem... and it brought us closer together...

I've pulled out of a walk and coffee morning with my #NWRUK friends tomorrow... the forecast is sunny and 27°... and my body has had more than enough heat this week... I can catch up with them next time...

I can't believe that I've just been out on this boiling hot day... I've been on a canal trip in Chesterfield... for afternoon tea... with my #NWRUK group... The boat was lovely and shady... We saw lots of dragonflies, damselflies and fish... and had a wonderful afternoon...
