Sadly, I am not there to celebrate with you, but I'm loving watching bits of the NDP livestream during my breaks.
I miss Singapore and the Singaporeans dearly, and I'm celebrating with you from afar.
Jimmy*Update* my timing was wrong - they do it when the anthem was sung and they did show it! My bad.
Another scene that wasn’t shown - the Colors parade doing the flag salute. This is when the officers of the color parade bring the regimental colors flags off their holder and do a salute by lowering the flags. It rained and doing the salute with wet gloves is difficult and prone to slippage.
Mediacorp TV producers are cutting away from all the landings of the #RedLions - just in case shit happens. Come’on - you took away their best moments!
