Here's a few pics from yesterday's trip to the #NCZoo. It was a beautiful day - sunny and warm. Was nice to get out and walk around in the sunlight.

I also shot a roll of #HarmanPhoenix but it went into the fridge to wait until I reach "critical mass" of C41 rolls to justify opening and mixing the chemicals.
Just now getting a chance to post pics from my #NCZoo Zoofari, where they take you into a large habitat on a specially outfitted truck.
The animals surround you, but sometimes you have to stretch across your wife awkwardly to get the shot.
These are female Greater Kudus, a large antelope that prefers mixed scrublands in eastern and southern Africa. Although losing some habitat, this species is not currently listed as threatened.
Cool stripes, though.

Huge space here in Asheboro, NC. ZooAtlanta could fit in the African plains habitat alone.

Red ruffed lemur crashed on a branch.
Last stop on our day at the #NCZoo is the snowy north to see #ArcticFoxes and the majestic (if a bit sleepy) #PolarBear.
Got to the #chimpanzees just in time for snack time! And to hear a keeper talk about how one of the chimps has learned to trade frogs he catches in his enclosure for treats.
