Tad dreich on #NCN7 #SpeysideWay today.... Had the route to myself
A route with a view ... #NCN7 in the #Cairngorms today
Great to see so many people enjoying the sunshine, and beauty of #SpeysideWay #NCN7 today

The route along the shore of Loch Trool passes along a bridge over Buchan Burn. On it are carved the words of Sir Walter Scott:

"Land of brown heath and shaggy wood, Land of the mountain and the flood,
Land of my sires what mortal hand,
Can e'er untie the filial band,
That knits me to thy rugged strand".

This was our last ride of the holiday. It would certainly be hard to untie ourselves from this land of brown heath and shaggy wood.

A view I'll never tire of ....#RuthvenBarracks on #NCN7. Maybe it was the strong winds keeping people away, but felt I had the road to myself today.
