Ein Loch in der Größe einer Notausgangstüre ist im Flugzeug. Die internationale Presse schlussfolgert: Da fehlt ein Fenster.

Wondering how much that Alaska 1282 #Boeing 737-9 MAX door plug weighs. Presumably, if it landed in an inhabited area (Beaverton, Metzger, Lake Oswego?), it would have been all over the news. (Maybe it landed in a low-traffic area or woods (Forest Park?) - and will be discovered in daylight - or even a body of water.)
Also curious to know if any phone (in a rugged case?) survived 3-mile fall, might be located via Find feature.

Alaska grounded erstmal alle ihre 65 737 MAX 9:
"Following tonight’s event on Flight 1282, we have decided to take the precautionary step of temporarily grounding our fleet of 65 Boeing 737-9 aircraft. Each aircraft will be returned to service only after completion of full maintenance and safety inspections. We anticipate all inspections will be completed in the next few days."

"[...] The first intermittent warning light appeared during taxi-in following a previous flight, which prompted the airline to remove the aircraft from extended range operations (ETOPS) per maintenance rules. [...]"
Wenn das stimmt was sie schreiben, scheint das Flugzeug wegen wiederholten unklaren pressurization issues schon aus ETOPS rausgefallen zu sein.
