I cried when that Twitter update video hit my timeline. Absolutely bawled.

My kids grew up watching Blue's Clues. Steve became a safe place - someone who made space, who looked you in the eye, who didn't place any expectations on you in return... There were a lot of GenX parents who needed that as badly as their kids did.
