@nenezz Thanks a lot. You could also try to do some #streetmusic (without an amp). @artsyhonker suggested this under the #MyMusicGotBetter tag. I'll try it again now. I think my voice is loud enough now so people can at least hear me 8)
Also #MyMusicGotBetter when I learned a little bit of theory. Not that I understand everything I write, or that I limit myself to the stuff I understand using music theory, but it does make things easier.
Not that it's great or anything, but #MyMusicGotBetter when I stopped leaving the vocal melody and the lyrics for the end.
#MyMusicGotBetter when I committed to singing in a somewhat ambitioned ensemble. Being challenged helps me grow as a singer, and commitment helps me to give music it's proper palce in my life. Treating my music as "just a hobby that I'll do when I get around to it" doesn't sit right with me. Looking at it as a central part of my life and identity is better for me and my music. I am still not completely owning my ambition - that's something that might help me take my music to the next level.
Aw, I like all these #MyArtGotBetter and #MyMusicGotBetter posts! Thank you all for sharing! ❤️
#MyMusicGotBetter when I realized that 'inspiration must find you working' and that distraction is my biggest enemy and ability to focus is my greatest asset.
#MyMusicGotBetter when I started letting people pay me: for teaching, performing, composing, directing.

#MyMusicGotBetter when I spent a couple of years busking unaccompanied for 4-6 hours a day.

As a brass player, nothing has ever been as good for my endurance as playing two two-hour pitches daily.

#MyMusicGotBetter as a pianist after I spent 2 years in a choir. A pianist friend of mine suggested this, and it greatly improved my hearing and control of inner voices, as well as overall sound

#myMusicGotBetter when i started listening
#myMusicGotBetter when i started listening to my heart
#myMusicGotBetter when i started listening to my heart instead of my head

(also being ok with leaving spaces (for beathing, for thinking, for feeling (for healing)) within)

more improvements to come!
