Why "bye-bye WiFi"?

So, I have LMDE 7 'Gigi' up and running on my PC - alongside my Windows installation.
Now I have a lot to learn - some more urgent than other. Here us my primary issue to address.
I loose my WiFi connection. Here is the pattern:

I close down my PC every evening.
1. New day. I boot and choose Linux.
2. It starts and I log on.
3. For a short while I am connected to my WiFi and the Internet ... and then the connection is lost. At this point I can no longer connect. Sometimes I can still see the connection (the name), most times it is gone.

(a workaround)

5. I reboot and choose Windows 11
6. Windows starts and connects to my WiFi.
7. Then I restart and choose Linux again
8. It starts, and a stable connection to my WiFi is established.

I do not yet know how to fix the issue.
Do you have a hint to, where I should start?

Finally I moved on.
I managed to install LMDE 7 'Gigi' on my PC - alongside my Windows installation (I am not ready to go all the way yet - I am challenged by my current choice of Cloud Storage Provider).
The installation process was manageable by simply following the instructions on
