Temporarily set a supervisor password in the BIOS. Set it to abc123 (easy to remember), don't want to brick the laptop by forgetting. Set Secure Boot to Disabled. Set supervisor password back to a blank password.

I will have to look up how to disable secure boot. I was afraid of this. There is no option in the bios to disable it.
