A post I shared 10 years ago encouraging the adoption of older dogs popped up in my timeline memories this morning. I'd commented, "I love the idea ... I'm just not sure I could go through losing another dog so 'soon' after old Harry." It had been 2 1/2 years since Harry's passing. And a few weeks after sharing the post, we adopted 2 1/2 year old Jet. Almost 10 years on, I can't imagine life without him. ❤️ #dogs #mydogs #mydogpost #DogsOfMastodon
