You think that cassette tapes were hard to manage? They've come a long, long way from the original recording medium - wax cylinders! Edison was the first to record sounds onto a reproducible and durable medium and, fun fact, the very first recording was the following:

"Mary had a little lamb, it's fleece was white as snow; and every where that Mary went, the lamb was sure to go."

Here's a few more photos from the Music America exhibit. This one goes out to all my synthwave and electro music chooms!

Thanks to @jdev958, I was alerted to the "Music America" exhibit at the LBJ Library on the University of Texas campus, so I just decided to go because I could. And Tuesdays are 1/2 price admission, so it only cost $8!

This is an exhibit of all sorts of music memorabilia from American music history, and it was really cool! Bruce Springsteen is behind the preservation foundation that protects all this history. I'll post some more pictures later, but for now, here's the "holy Trinity" of guitars (as @jdev958 put it): "Lucille" (B.B. King), "Number 1" (Stevie Ray Vaughan), and Jimi Hendrix's famous Flying V. Also added Bo Diddley's hand-made guitar.

This one's for you, invalidcharacter!
