KennethIt blows my mind that elements of the #GOP #House Caucus hadn't had a very short list of viable candidates for Speaker to present— it's not as if they didn't see this fiasco coming. #FunFact: You don't have to be a member of the House to be Speaker, much as you don't have to be a Cardinal to be Pope. And as a practical matter, isn't a #MootHouse tantamount to a governmental shut-down...‽ Oh to be a fly in the corridors of power...
