Book 38. One moment please by Amy Daws. 3rd in the Wait with me series and definitely my fav so far. I love these spicy romances. Amy writes such good characters. Smut romance at its best

Book 37 Written in the Stars
A queer romance. Impossibly cute and adorable, but I loved both main characters, and the development of their relationship was so good. So much romance has red flag characters, but not this one

Book 36
Before the Coffee Gets Cold
I love the premise of this one. It had so much potential in my opinion but just fell a bit short and I was disappointed. It needed more depth both emotional and storytelling wise.

Book 35

The Wakes A decent debut novel that looks at grief and love. This might sound odd but she writes funerals and loss beautiful and cried multiple times. Solid 4 stars

Book 34
The Shelf
This is good. I wasn't sure to start with but then I realised it was brilliant brutal satire that highlights that social media's not the problem, reality TV is not the problem but misogyny most definitely is. Highly recommend the audio. 5 stars

Book 33
Malibu Rising. My 1st TJR and if I didn't have to read some of the others for book club it would be my last. This book is overly long, the plot of a mess and I didn't really care about anyone in it

Book 32
Property by Valerie Martin.
Read this as part of my challenge to read all the Women's Prize for Fic winners. Found it hard going and I didn't care about the white woman's 'hardship' in comparisons to the slaves.

Go As a River
5 STARS. This book totally slayed me. So far one of my top reads this year. Maybe THE TOP read of the year. I cried buckets for like the last 50 pages. Beautiful emotive writing.

Book 28
November 9th By Colleen Hoover
Oh my this is problematic. Lots of awful things passed off as romance when they are in fact toxic and at times verge on abuse. Definitely one that inspires lots of conversation about this topics but as romance. NOPE

Book 29
The Prison Healer
YA fantasy. The only reason I didn't DNF was because it was for book club. The whole book is a massive red herring and I wanted to throw it out the window by the end.
