-> @haileys.questi think i want to implement the server from scratch, rather than use a package. that way I can use the same socket/port for Gemini, Titan, and Misfin, since no existing package seems to let me do that.
what I need then is TLS, and I think the Go standard library has that. (yeah I'm writing it in Go, bite me.)
why am I making a new server from scratch? 1. because that's what you're supposed to do in geminispace, and 2. because that lets me set my own features up, particularly built-in modules like a Web server with HTML output (which should be more flexible, via Go templates; more styling, more HTML... I can even do ACME with it!), automatic and cached format conversions, a Misfin(C) mailbox (and maybe mailing list support??), and gmEditor v3 but built-in as the editor module.
And I'm calling it Saga.
