#ElvisPresley appeared on the #MiltonBerleShow on #ThisDayInHistory in 1956 to perform his single #HoundDog. He managed to scandalize the more conservative (#racist) parts of white America by using the kind of dynamic, sexualized moves common among #Black rock and R&B performers.
