Miku Symphony isn't quite what I expected: I thought all tracks would be instrumental – purely symphonic – but about half have vocal synths, and even choral backing! It's a little strange at first to hear vocaloid captured in an orchestra hall, and I think it's hard to get the right balance in the mix (it's very synth-forward). It's not unpleasant, just surprising.

It makes sense when I remember these are captured at live events, not studio-recorded, and, well, you'd probably want Miku to show up for an event with her name on it.
