Alternate photos for the day could have been the dusty gap underneath the dishwasher with dangling control board, screwdriver and flashlight. Or it could have been the green lights suggesting it was fixed after much grunting and cursing.

The win was short lived. All the lights eventually blinked off and no percussive maintenance or cycling of the fuse would fix the issue.

Time to get a professional involved (or a new dishwasher).

So instead of dust bunnies and wires, here is a lovely assortment of hand painted rocks I photographed for my friend Mike. He came with boxes of them and stacks of drawings — all collaborations with his son. We documented the whole lot in short order and it was delightful to catch up and help out.

Art rocks

Photographed these rocks along with a bunch of art my friend Mike made with his son in the morning. In the evening I got that dag control board installed in the dishwasher. It lit up for a few hours and then died again. Time to get professionals involved.
