Helloween, Running Wild, Iron Angel, Not Fragile, Gamma Ray, Paragon, Stormwarrior, Metalium, Mountain Witch, B.S.T., and counless others … my home town of Hamburg has given birth to lotsa great #metal bands over the years.

But the best of 'em – for me – are these three dudes: Midnight Prey! Here they are on stage at one of #Hamburg 's most legendary venues, Markthalle, last weekend. I've seen 'em live quite a few times and they always slayed. Still, this was one of the very best #MidnightPrey concerts I attended so far.

I couldn't tell you what the best music album of the 20th century was. But I can tell you, that Uncertain Times is the best music album of the 21st century. It doesn't matter what will release in the next 75 years. It cannot get better than this. #HeavyMetal #MidnightPrey #UncertainTimes

I found some time to research more bands from my hometown for @Banur's #RegionalRiffs and luckily found one I really like. Here is the debut album by Midnight Prey, based in Hamburg. A mixture of 70s hard rock, 80s metal, speed metal and punk. Some songs with German and some with English lyrics.
