Absolutely killer song, written by Carole Bayer Sager and Burt Bacharach, recorded by two of the greatest soul vocalists of the era,

Our singers in the video both have floor-to-ceiling windows (a shorthand signifier of great success), but their relationship has foundered and failed.

The song was recorded in two separate takes, expertly blended - the first use of this technique on a big hit.
