Yes!
I just tested a small batch of AT27C256R-70 OTP ROMs in the two #MiSCUSI variants (CMOS and NMOS #SCSI controller) and they work flawlessly on both.
So I now recommend using these.

Still waiting for other 28C256 to check.

#apple2

The new revision of the #MiSCUSI SCSI card for #apple2 works! (Almost fully SMD SCSI card with active termination)

This one uses CMOS 53C80 controllers (easier to get in PLCC format than the NMOS ones, tested several zilog and an AMD one), replaces the 'LS133 with something cheaper to get and shuffles around some components.
I was even able to test the fuse protection 😬

It's currently running some games on my Delta Apple2e clone using #BlueSCSI .

Quite busy these days, but every time I can spare a few minutes I'm proceeding with the #MiSCUSI prototype for 53C80
Soon(ish).
#apple2 #MiSCUSI
Oh good, the new #MiSCUSI variant proto is scheduled for delivery next Monday. Hope it likes the 53C80 and replacing the 'LS133 doesn't scramble the timing too much!🀞
Order placed for the new #MiSCUSI variant. 🀞

Spending some time to finalize the 53C80 version of the #MiSCUSI today.

Cleaning up some routing, tweaking fill zones, moving around parts of the silkscreen.

The objective is placing a PCB order tomorrow for this and other few things I want to proceed with the KIM-1 build.

Hell of a day, and it's not finished yet.
But almost there with the last #MiSCUSI variant.
Will probably order the proto in the weekend.

Great, the routing for the 53C80 / '133-free #MiSCUSI (#Apple2 #SCSI yada yada) has been completed.

There are some things I want to tweak now, then the fill zones to prepare and tidy up, but I expect the prototype to be ready for a production test within the week.

But this is enough retroing for today: loads of other work to do before the end of the day.

Very good progress on the 53C80 + substituted 74LS133 #MiSCUSI board for the #Apple2.

Routing of signals is complete, only power is left.
