Some people will only love the version of you that doesn’t have boundaries.

And when you start choosing yourself - when you start saying no, taking up space, changing the rules, and refusing to shrink - they’ll get uncomfortable.

They might say you’re selfish.

Distant. Cold.

Too much.

Not enough.

But the truth is…

they just don’t know how to love the version of you

who loves yourself.

And I know it hurts.

God, it hurts.

Because these are people you maybe wanted to keep.

People you gave so much energy to.

People you shaped yourself around.

But listen…

the version of you who stays small to keep the peace

is not your highest self.

She’s your survival self.

And she’s so tired.

So if you’re losing people as you start holding sacred boundaries?

You’re not doing it wrong.

You’re doing it right.

You’re becoming someone you can trust.

🖤

I want to hear your story.

Have you lost anyone because you started setting boundaries?

Did it feel like grief? Like freedom? Both?

Let’s talk.
