Today, I have hope.

I have hope because of people like #Christian #Menefee.

He’s running in the special election to represent TX-18 in Congress as a Democrat.

I couldn’t be more proud to endorse him.

Just this week, Christian joined the legal battle against the Trump administration’s unlawful firing of public servants.

💪🏽They won, proving that we are not powerless, despite what the extremists in charge want us to think.

But standing up to power and fighting for what’s right isn’t anything new for Christian.

When Gregg Abbott shamelessly signed measures into law to suppress voting, our most sacred foundation of Democracy,
⭐️Christian rolled up his sleeves and took the state to court.

It would’ve been easy for him to accept defeat.
But he proved he will never give up and he will never give in.

A fighter like Christian is Republicans’ worst nightmare in Congress
and they will do everything they can to stop him.

It is going to take a tidal wave of grassroots support to take them on.

I refuse to surrender,
