I came up with #MayCrochetBuffet because I can’t crochet at the moment because of tendinitis. I miss crocheting so I thought about doing small quiet crochet-related things in the meantime. The plan is to create a buffet of crochet project ideas for the future as well as a buffet of crochet-related things to do in May. If you want to join this challenge please adapt it in any way you want. There can be plenty of reasons to pause a craft or creative project and it can help to find joyful supportive things to do during that pause.

Some crochet pieces that fit with May Day / Labour Day: the Melt the ICE hat, Fladder the wrath bat, and a work self-care survival pouch. The bat was made for Witchs' Black Lent, as was the black-out poetry and mini wrath journal.

Since a few weeks I'm pausing my crochet projects because of tendonitis but it's sooo hard! 😢 So I tried to come up with a crochet challenge for May that doesn't involve crocheting but basically means planning and sketching future projects, gathering inspiration, and maybe creating a crochet zine. It's called #maycrochetbuffet . I hope it will comfort me. 😊
