Anyone recall why #GordonBrown was unpopular as PM? I remember the feeling but the reasons are hazy. #10pTaxRate, #LauraSpence, ‘07 GE, #BigotedWoman don’t seem to add up to enough. Ideas? Or was it just that polls aren’t a Markov chain - he sunk faster because he was already sinking? (#MatthewParris had a column on that years ago, with a word for it, but I can’t find it.)
