Anime Animals アニメの動物Matarakan of Indie ex-VShojo talks about legal stuff, vaguely implying that some parts of her contract with VShojo were less than stellar.
VShojo may have asked everyone to vet the contract with their own lawyer (good), but then VShojo's own lawyers can spin any parts of the contract that are vague into their favor (bad). Especially important is Shylily's addendum about getting anything spoken into writing, because verbal promises / verbal contracts are pointless if they can't be brought in for a legal dispute.

Edit: Matara has owned up to it on stream that it's something she did which is why she accepted the phrasing of the announcement as it is. What exactly happened is something that she can't talk about because of NDAs.
Because VShojo the 'transparency' company doesn't take any cut of stream money, they therefore must take a bigger cut of merch and sponsored streams. The prevailing speculation rrat is that Matara missed a Marvel Rivals sponsored stream due to an emergency, and/or she used a different company to handle merch for her Birthday due to poor merch by VShojo (at the time).

VShojo made the decision to part ways with me on March 6th, effective May 5th. I thank the Girls (+Kuro) for the great times we had together and the wonderful moments we shared in the last ~18 months. I wish the remaining talent in VShojo the best of luck in their activities, I love them very much and I will carry on being their bug Auntie. I will continue streaming as Matara Kan because I am Matara Kan and I hope the Momo’s can still cheer me on, even if I won’t be Matara Kan of VShojo~
