I really enjoy introducing people on #Mastodon who don't follow one another, but who I think may enjoy one another's content.

It's so easy to do. Just find a someone posting cool stuff that you don't follow. Follow them, and then say "Hey, @whatshisnuts, I'd like you meet @whoseherface" on one of their posts..

Quick, easy, prosocial, feel good fun. I'm surprised I don't see it happen more on here what with the chill #Mastovibe.

Shall I tell you what I’m liking most here so far (apart from the whole vibe), is that I don’t find spam DMs every time I come on here. Sick & tired of them on Twitter & Insta. Post a pic of a dog on Insta and immediately get spammed by bots asking you to post to their feed (or something, I dunno, I block them). It’s just so refreshing not to be controlled by algorithms & bots. I’m staying πŸ₯° #Twexiter #Mastovibe #ThankYouMastodon
