To anyone that has followed me on Mastodon, thank you.
If I haven't followed you back yet, my apologies.
I've tried, but sometimes when I've followed back, the app said the follow was successful when it wasn't.
I'll catch up in due course.
@hughashton Hello! I do not think Mastodon has an “edit button,” per se. I also use Toot!, and when I tap into a toot that I have composed, I see a three-dot menu icon just to the left of the “Reply” button.
In that menu, one of the options is “Delete & re-draft.” That option will delete your toot and put its contents back in your composition box. You can edit it there and re-upload. This will change the timestamp on your toot. So, if you start editing content from months ago, be advised that it’ll be added back at the top of your timeline.
I have no idea how to do anything here, so on a steep learning curve. I've had an aversion to Facebook and Twitter, so basically no social media skills excerpt some learned on Instagram. As a photographer I've used Instagram quite a lot, mainly to enjoy the photos of others and to share a few of mine, but have been feeling increasingly uncomfortable and considering my future with Insta.
According to a majority of the #Astrodon community, the *real* colour of #darkmatter is purple. Total votes were 39, and the results (percentages rounded) are:
💜 Purple: 24 votes / 62%
❤ Red: 4 votes / 11%
💙 Light Blue: 5 votes / 13%
💚 Turquiose: 6 votes / 15%
Note that editing the poll text eliminated three votes, but did not reset the total count (#MastodonLearningCurve), hence the percentages in the screenshot don't quite add up.
