I was going to paint a small study of Ruprecht von Kaufmann’s work Ordnung (2016), which has such an inspiring color atmosphere, that I’ll want to take some inspiration of it to my upcoming stuff. But then during the light sketch before painting the values took me, and I accidentally finished this small pencil sketch instead.

I really do love the original piece, but I think I got a bit of my own fingerprint showing in here too.
