Congress overrode a veto on #ThisDayInHistory in 1947 to pass the #TaftHartleyAct, still US law. This amends the 1935 NLRA to weaken #unions by banning #communist leaders, #WildcatStrikes, #SolidarityStrikes, #MassPickets, & #ClosedShops, and allowing so-called #RightToWork laws.
