MLA Richard Wilson of #Maskwacis and Minister for Addiction and Mental Health is denying persons, including Indigenous persons currently in custody, access to any Recovery Alberta residential treatment program on release.

"The pre-admission process will not begin until the client is released" is what I was emailed.

Thus, the disproportionate number of #Indigenous persons in our jails are being affected by this new change in policy.

This is a disgrace in my opinion.
