"You Won't See Me" is a song by the English rock band #theBeatles from their 1965 album #RubberSoul. It was written by #PaulMcCartney and credited to #LennonMcCartney. The lyrics address McCartney's troubled relationship with #JaneAsher and her desire to pursue her career as a stage and film actress. The Beatles recorded the song during what #MarkLewisohn describes as a "marathon" final recording session for Rubber Soul, to ensure the album's pre-Christmas release.

Reading Philip Norman’s George Harrison biography and I can’t believe he’s still repeating the myths that were thoroughly debunked by Mark Lewisohn’s Tune In.

E.g., Liverpool seamen distributing crates of American records. And the band seriously calling themselves “The Silver Beatles.” Lewisohn convincingly proved these claims are both horseshit.

Did he do any new research after publishing Shout in 1981?
