If your local council is being forced into having an unnecessary & expensive referendum about keeping Māori Wards, you need to ensure you’re enrolled to vote YES.
Please encourage others to do the same. I’ll keep posting info on this over the next few months

Overall, their responses can be summed up in three points:
Māori wards have been a positive addition to councils and their communities
Councils don't want to put the cost of a referendum on their ratepayers
The Government should stay out of local affairs.
