I'm on the airport, waiting to go back to Portugal and considering this whole past weekend.
When I convinced my friend to come to #magicconbarcelona just one month ago, based on the presence of a great bunch of the @LoadingReadyRun troupe being present, it seemed like an impulsive trip, and with a risk of falling through as a dud.
But these three days with a healthy mix of games, exploring the convention, interacting with artists, cosplayers, and content creators, as well as some hours spent in tourism and sightseeing, made for an amazingly fun weekend.
Above all I want to thank @Graham_LRR , @Kathleen_LRR , @James_LRR , Nelson, Serge, and Ben. They proved without a shadow of a doubt that their personalities in sketches and content
were not just acting, they were amazing hosts on their events, great people to talk to and play besides or against and great demonstrators that the best part of MtG is the Gathering. I am proud to be an avid viewer of their sketches, comedy, and content, for almost 18 years.
It was a pleasure to see them all, and now I only need that for the next events they send Paul, Wheeler, Cameron, etc... as I still have space left for their touch in my signed cards.
The Caesar in the card and the Caesar holding the card are both extremely happy.
Taking a bit more than expected to get things ready for early tomorrow morning to go to #magicconbarcelona , but some things cannot be rushed.
I am taking 7 groups of 3 cards each(on the image there are only 5 due to having to hide some doubke faced cards), to try and get them signed by the @LoadingReadyRun folks.
There's one group for them all and the other 3 cards group each represent some memory or association I have with each person from the comedy troupe and their years as entertainers and "content creators". Each one has a card from one of my earliest sets when I started watching the Friday Nights sketchs, each one has a card which I associate with their FN/CommodoreHustle episodes, and a card related to their general attitude revealed through streams and general videos.
I'm hoping I don't steal too much of their time, but that I still manage to get some signatures from @Graham_LRR @Kathleen_LRR @James_LRR Nelson, Serge, and Ben.
I was somewhat aware of Sagrada Família’s exterior, even if I under-appreciated the scale of the building.
Nothing prepared me for the interior.
Jaw-dropping.
And it simply does not reproduce in photos. Every photo I took, on my latest-model iPhone or my fancy Sony camera, utterly pale in comparison to being there.

We're Sahar Mirhadi and Sarah Grenham, two British ladies who share a passion for Magic: The Gathering and non-rotating eternal formats, specifically Legacy. Our journeys began with Scars of Mirrodin (Sarah) and Journey into Nyx (Sahar). Over the years, we've achieved several tournament top 8s and victories using decks like Delver, Red Prison, Depths, Lands, and Initiative. Sahar's accomplishments include winning the Axion Now Mega Legacy event and achieving a 9-0 record at GP Bologna 2019, making her one of the few women to do so. Our aim for this channel is to spread our love and enthusiasm for the Legacy format and its diverse range of decks. We strive to make the format easy to understand, engaging, and accessible to everyone, just as it was for us when we started out all those years ago.
