GaffenI have completed my article on #MLaaS platforms like #Midjourney and #ChatGPT and their relation to #Creativity, #Art and #Copyright
It's titled "AI, IP Theft, and the Death of Creativity". I do a deep dive on how we can define creativity and whether I personally think (with some philosophical arguments to back me up) that MLaaS platforms can be creative. I then take a look at that through the lense of the creator economy and the legal structures that exist within it.
Whether or not the class action lawsuit is successful against #StabilityAI I think that I've made quite a strong moral argument against letting these services use copyrighted data for commercial services.
