New release of #MIMEDefang, the Perl milter that can do anything you want to do to #email, even stuff that you probably shouldn’t. But also, a great glue layer for #SpamAssassin. Thanks to @gbechis for most of this release's changes.

@gbechis has done most of the work on this release, adding Mail: :MIMEDefang: :SPF to check SPF inside MD, an option to use the #SpamAssassin spamc/spamd protocol instead of the direct API, better support for generating multipart mail, and a bunch of little fixes/additions.

I like to say MD can do anything because its config is just Perl. This release makes it easier.

The #MIMEDefang Project has a major update coming in v3.5, with the work mostly done by Giovanni Bechis. Substantial feature additions and bug fixes! MIMEDefang is one of the most mature and versatile tools for mail filtering via the Milter API (available in Sendmail and Postfix.) It has been my personal years-long favorite tool for hooking #SpamAssassin into MTAs, long before I joined the project.
