And with that we're already at the last song of the competition, that went quickly. ‘Aziz/a’ by Kurt Calleja sounds completely different to all the other songs we've heard so far, unfortunately I'm once again missing the final kick in the song, but it definitely wasn't bad. ✌️

Haley actually had my favourite song at MESC 2024 last year and ... came last in the final.  This year I think the song is a bit weaker, but I still like her.

It's very nice and the fact that it's sung in Maltese makes it much more authentic. Vocally, however, there is still room for improvement. 🪑

A typical MESC problem: The song is not enough. Justine Shorfid does a really good job, the camera captures the stage beautifully and the background is just right. If only the composition was more interesting. I still think it will be enough for the final.
