Dr. Jim EllsworthThis is a good article. The growing Republican dissent approaching the midterms IS significant, because it signals that even Trumpublican congressmen & women from solidly red districts ARE FEELING THE HEAT FROM THEIR CONSTITUENTS IN WAYS THEY WORRY COULD THREATEN THEIR JOBS.
It DOESN'T truly mean that they're breaking with the #MAGAts' fascist agenda--and it SURE as hell doesn't mean that any American who loves the Constitution and liberty & justice FOR ALL can give them another chance & vote for them in good conscience--no matter HOW much they PRETEND to espouse our Conservative values.
But it DOES mean there are legitimate, organic political fires under their feet--and we should be identifying AND STOKING those fires between now & November to ensure that all of #AgolfShitler's gerrymandering & voter suppression comes to naught, and we have a Congress that will render him a lame duck and hold him and his minions personally accountable for their ASSAULT ON the Constitution, throughout fascism's last two years in office and beyond.
