I started building the Lumibricks Alpine Observatory by emptying all the envelopes of bricks into the box. I like delving around in the pile of bricks as an exercise in mindfulness. I think it goes back to 60+ years ago, when an old freezer drawer full of bricks kept me happy for hours at a time.
I'm impressed by the quality and quantity of the printed bricks and the complete absence of stickers. Less impressive was the lack of diversity in the minifigs - all white men. The inclusion of a screwdriver and needle-nose tweezers makes things interesting - they are needed for fitting the lights.
This post reminded me to take another look at getting hold of the Lumibricks Alpine Observatory (https://www.lumibricks.com/products/alpine-observatory-l9091), which had been out of stock when I last looked about a year ago.
My only previous experience with off-brand #Lego has been the CaDa Orrery, which is currently half-built, but I've been happy with the quality.
This box arrived this morning...
