An album by mumble and sigh
My newest album for #looptober 2025 has officially released! Fifteen tracks totalling just over 23 minutes of brand-new music, spanning many genres and retro videogame sound chips, all available via my Mirlo site, pay-what-you-want. (Zero is fine, really!) Just be sure and listen past the first track – it's a bit experimental.
Youtube oscilloscope videos will be on the way very soon, so if you're holding out for those, I've got you covered.
As always, please enjoy!

I was on the Dead Code Podcast talking about https://brutrb.com (and a bit about #looptober and synths). Had a good convo about why Brut is currently the way it is and where it might go.

My #looptober 2025 album is now available on Bandcamp and Mirlo.

#looptober retrospective!
since numbers are the best way to judge the quality of art and to generally achieve happiness in life, i tallied social media metrics for all my looptober posts across 4 platforms (fedi, bs, tiktok, xiaohongshu)
from this data i computed the absolute worst flops, which serve as a guideline for what kind of music i need to make more of
Gonna be following #Novembeat, but after #Looptober I need a break from making a whole, complete chunk of music every day. Seems like a good challenge for anyone who might've wanted to do #Looptober but missed out this year, though! (Or anyone for whom a single month of making a new piece of music every day was simply not enough!)
Edit: I've just been informed that #Noisevember is also a thing.
Edit 2: And #Dronecember.
