A few months back when I was still looking for a red dial, I tried the #Longines Conquest Heritage Year of the Snake 2025 aka L1.651.4.09.2. I am going to be honest: it was not it for me. Red dial and golden hands/trapeze markers is a fantastic combo. But imho a big 40mm case does not fit a pure vintage inspired dress watch with no complication. Also if you have ever seen the Year of the Dragon 2024 edition, losing date and moon phase feels like a downgrade. #watches #watchesofmastodon

Watches on this level are designed and manufactured to work for decades and decades. It's not uncommon for watches like this to just work 40 years provided that you sent them to an expert watch maker to maintain them
